During processing, droplets are sprayed into the drying chamber from the top of the chamber to flash evaporate the water at the temperature of 180°C ~ 220°C for about 5 seconds. The dry powder is then exposed to heat for several seconds as it falls to the bottom of drying chamber. The output temperature is 70°C ~ 90°C. Most Spirulina and Chlorella is manufactured under this procedure. These temperatures do not affect the high nutritional content of Chlorella. The product is still exceptionally high in micronutrients, and chlorophyll.
